    Due to continued growth in both student numbers and our range of provision, there is an opportunity to join the Faculty of Maths and Science. The Faculty was awarded grade 1 in the Ofsted inspection in 2014 and is primarily based in new purpose-built facilities in the Maths and Science Centre.

     

    The Faculty delivers a range of maths and science courses at levels two and three including GCSEs, A levels, BTEC Applied Science, IB science and maths courses, Access to HE and Apprenticeships at levels 3 and 4. The Faculty boasts excellent achievement and value-added rates.

     

    You will be joining an experienced, supportive team for Biology with a strong commitment to sharing ideas and resources. You would also benefit from support within the Faculty including a mentor and a Team Leader. As an Associate Lecturer you will be delivering lessons and carrying out preparation and marking but will be supported with a Scheme of Work from a Programme Leader.

     

    This role is currently anticipated to deliver Level 3 Biology across the BTEC Applied Science, Access to HE and A level. Ability to teach another subject within the faculty is an advantage, but not essential.
